It’s rare that we come across a casino looking to do things so unequivocally different – even though doing so sits right atop of TAG Media’s new client prospecting preferences. We have recently come across a brand new operation called PlayOJO. PlayOJO sits on the EGaming Online affiliate program, who are offering TAG Media affiliates an additional 10% ‘kicker’ on revenue share deals in March. Just sign up here and they’ll be in touch.

So what’s the big deal?
PlayOJO claims to offer your players more than any other online casino out there. Here’s a breakdown of some of OJO’s generous features:
OJOplus – this is the bit that sets this casino apart. From the moment a customer places their first bet, OJO the sidekick will drop free cash into the player’s OJOplus account – essentially pure cashback. This sits alongside the real money play account – but it’s not your regular bonus wallet as the cash is fully withdrawable, although players are encouraged to leave the balance rolling as cashback increases as you progress through levels, based on spins and turnover.
This simplifies things dramatically for the player and is the sort of feature that both new and experienced punters can embrace, unlike pretty much every other wagering requirement driven bonus out there. It’s so refreshing not to have to limit bets, opt out of bonuses etc.
Free Spins – yes, PlayOJO has them, but as with the cashback, there are no wagering requirements on winnings. The spins are of course capped at 0.01p/c, but I particularly like the OJO Wheel (wheel of fortune style qualifier) with differing risk/reward levels depending on how many spins you want to land. We hit 15 free spins and I have to say, it was particularly satisfying pocketing the £3.15 we won without the faff of wagering requirements – a good few spins on Raging Rhino for us small time spinners!
When a player make their initial deposit, they get 1 Free Spin for every £1 they deposit (up to 50) which can be played on Rainbow Riches and Starburst. PlayOJO refers to perks as ‘Kickers’, with a new Kicker each day. OJO has regular promos, slot tournaments, Free Spins, Free Cash, A-lister rewards and OJO Wheel spins – similar styles to what you’d see elsewhere, but of course without the wagering requirements that put off serious slots players.
OJO Levels is a one-way loyalty program. The more a player plays, the faster they climb levels and build up rewards. Every bet staked contributes to level progression and more rewards – such as a turn on the OJO Wheel whenever you level up. After a while (I’ve not got there yet!), players will receive an invite to join Club OJO (essentially their VIP program).
PlayOJO operates using SkillOnNet software which delivers a generally smooth performance. I have had a single game time out in an hour’s play, so not bad. The mobile app is also mid to high quality in my experience. In terms of games, you’re looking at NetEnt, AMAYA, Barcrest, Microgaming, WMS, NextGen and more. I had a particularly good run on Raging Rhino. Your players can also tuck in to live roulette and blackjack with live dealers courtesy of Evolution, XPRO and Novoline.
Cashing In and Cashing Out
The only thing we could find that switched us off is the deposit charge for most methods. Not cool for players, but I’m working on seeing if they are looking to waive this post-launch phase (plenty of casinos run with this when they launch).
